What to Do If You’re Being Neglected
You deserve love and care!
If you are experiencing neglect in any form, it is not your fault.
Remember, it's important to speak up and seek help if you're not getting the care and support you need. There are people and resources available to help you through this.
Speak to someone you trust and ask for help. This could be:
A trusted older relative or friend
School counsellor
Teacher or school principal
Doctor or nurse
Going to Alex’s Place – HSA’s Adolescent Mental Health Hub in front of the George Town Hospital
You can also click the 'Let’s Chat’ button at the top of the page to speak with a trained Kids Helpline volunteer and get support finding resources available to you. We're here to listen, believe you, and help you find resources to get support and stay safe.
